Born on January 4, 1994 and hailing from Zibwowa Zaka in Masvingo, Niceboi started doing music in Gweru in 2019.

AFRO-FUSION artiste Sonfree Vunganai has announced that he will be releasing a three -song2 extended play titled Festive next Tuesday, which he believes will be greatly appreciated by many music lovers.

Also known as Niceboi Ngomaround and popular for songs like Zviroto and Manake, Vunganai charmed Slizer in Botswana through his studio act and eventually collaborated on the song Naume, a party song meant for celebrations and festivities.

The other two songs are Minamato, a song for appreciating God’s blessings for turning our struggles into successes and Festive, the title track, which is self-explanatory.

It is an amapiano song meant for joyous moments like parties, weddings and just those happy moods.

“In the music circles, one gets to mix and mingle with several people and musicians can meet in studios and during their shows,” Niceboi told NewsDay Life & Style.

“I met Slizer in Botswana at a studio and she instantly liked my touch, then we did a song Naume produced by Kuseri Kumakili, a prominent Setswana producer.

“Minamato was produced by Makumbe Productions, while Festive was produced by Ngomaround Music.”

He added: “I am still looking for branding partners and sponsors for the three videos so that we get closer to the people. This is the right time that Zimbabweans were waiting for.

“The songs are going be the best for this festive season. I wish everybody a happy festive season that gives them a new lease of life characterised by happiness and success.”

Born on January 4, 1994 and hailing from Zibwowa Zaka in Masvingo, Niceboi started doing music in Gweru in 2019.

At one time, he got into a copyright fracas with a local music label they, however, managed to resolve their dispute on a win-win basis.

In the past, he has recorded and produced hit songs like Zviroto, Zororo, Tsvimbo yaMoses, Masanga, Ndaruza Humhandara, Nherera, Middle Passage, Gona, Zimbabwe and Manake, which did fairly well on the market.

With no awards in his cabinet, Niceboi, like any other artiste, wishes his music could reach a wider audience through online platforms.

“Just keep this date in mind, December 10, a good and refreshing brand new music EP called Festive is coming to unite you all with the happiness and celebration that comes with Christmas and the New Year. The songs are Naume, Minamato and the title track Festive.

Niceboi applauded entertainment stakeholders such as the government, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, venue managers and promoters for making efforts to breathe life into the music fraternity.

“We really appreciate this effort and their contributions to the rise of arts in Zimbabwe as a country,” he said.

“They have done well. I just want to encourage artistes to sign and agree on meaningful and rewarding contracts.”
