In her book, Kangani weaves vivid imagery that paints a picture of inner turmoil and external chaos.

Author and life coach Evermore Kangani, who is known for her raw, emotional and honest writing style, launched her latest book Peace in Chaos, which explores the duality of life’s experiences, on November 23 at Karigamombe building with the International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation being the main sponsors.

The book takes readers on a journey through the author’s personal experiences of loss, transformation and abundance.

“Just like in my other books, I believe that the best way to connect with people is by sharing personal experiences. I feel people learn much more from lived lessons rather than mere  theory,” said Kangani.

In her book, Kangani weaves vivid imagery that paints a picture of inner turmoil and external chaos. The young writer told NewsDay Life and Style that as much as the book shares her chaotic moments, it also has practical tools on how to navigate through challenges and attain peace.

“My moment of chaos struck last year in December when I lost the  job I was relying on and I got stuck but surprisingly for me, I found unexpected moments of beauty, peace and clarity in that chaotic moment and I decided to share it with the world,” she said.

Methodist Bishop Edmore Chiwota, who was the guest of honour at the launch, complimented Kangani’s book saying it reminded him of the many struggles he went through and reading about moments of peace within the chaos have led to greater self-awareness even for him.

“As I was reading Evermore’s book for a review, it reminded me of 1989 at Wardlove when I was in Grade Seven and received the news that my father had passed on. To me that was when chaos struck in my life but I am grateful it has led me to where I am today,” said Chiwota.

In a bold and ambitious move, Kangani not only launched her new book, but she also unveiled the official opening of her own coaching consultancy aptly named “Volvenesis Consultancy” which aims to help individuals tap into their own peace and live to their full potential.

“I derived the name ‘Volvenesis’ from the words evolve and genesis because I believe we all are coming and rising from somewhere with great potential waiting to be unlocked,” Kangani said.

Kangani began writing books in 2022, motivated by her personal journey, she published The Power of Prayer in 2022, Beauty for Ashes (2023) and Peace in Chaos the current book. At the young age of 26, she won an international coaching award in South Africa.
