Old Mutual, the nation’s leading financial services provider, has launched a web series to equip Zimbabweans with the basics of managing and growing their wealth.
The programme, which will run online once a month, will explore key themes on how to invest your money, how to preserve your income, and how to navigate financial systems and institutions in order to unlock financial freedom. By following the Bang for Buck series, viewers will learn how to make the most of their limited incomes and make every dollar go far.
“As Old Mutual, innovation is one of our core values, and we continue to seek out new and impactful ways to improve finance inclusion,” Lillian Mbayiwa Head of Group Marketing and Innovation at Old Mutual said.
“Financial freedom is not reserved for the few, but it should be accessible to every person. Old Mutual innovations always seek to make a difference,”
The Bang for Buck programme lineup includes an exciting panel of guests and speakers from different financial backgrounds, who will share their financial and wealth-building knowledge with the nation. Viewers can expect to learn from financial game changers and experts who are in the public eye, as well as hear lesser-known stories from ordinary people who have cracked the code to their financial freedom.
Each episode will be presented by Eben Mabunda of Equity Axis, and the first episode’s guests are Farai Mpofu, Head of Investor Education at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SEC) and Respect Gwenzi, Chief Analyst at Equity Axis.
