THE African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Association of Commodity Exchanges annual conference will be held this month on March 26-27 in Victoria Falls, it has been announced.
The Zimbabwe Mercantile Exchange (ZMX) announced that the event will bring together top industry leaders, policymakers and trade experts, with a focus on leveraging commodity exchanges to enhance market efficiency and attract investment into Africa’s agricultural and resource sectors.
The conference will be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel, where commodity exchanges will drive intra-African trade, streamline cross-border trade, ensure price transparency and create structured markets for African goods.
These goals remain key objectives for the success of the AfCFTA.
“With delegates from across the continent already registered, the conference reflects growing interest in trade harmonisation, investment opportunities, supply chain development and policy frameworks to unlock Africa’s trade potential,” ZMX said in a statement.
