ZimTrade Youth Export Incubation Project Nears Completion

The ZimTrade Youth Export Incubation project, dubbed Eagles Nest nears completion and is set to launch a TV show that will air on Zim National Broadcaster’s ZBC Tv from the 28th of September.
The TV show will be profiling the journey of all the Eagles Nest contestants from the first, second, and third phase in which 20 youth SME participants were selected to remain in the competition.   The remaining 20 will after receiving support contest in the national final where the overall winner will be selected.
Eagles Nest is a youth incubation project that aims to empower youth-owned companies through various technical interventions, training, and mentorship. The project, designed as a competition, was launched in March last year with over 100 youth-owned businesses expressing interest to take part.

The winner of the Eagles Nest program will get a chance to receive support from ZimTrade to attend trade fairs in ideal markets specific to their products and a six-month expert intervention from PUM and SES organizations to ensure their businesses can scale up and improve the product competitiveness on the export markets.
