Edwin Anderson Breathes New Life into Funeral Insurance

Branding Voice
Anderson highlighted that while most funeral insurance providers offer support only at the time of death, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan aims to provide value to policyholders throughout their lives. "We are offering a wide range of services that a policyholder gets to enjoy in their day-to-day life, not only limiting them to times of bereavement."

In a candid interview on Heart and Soul TV, Edwin Anderson, the innovative founder and former CEO of Zororo-Phumulani and acclaimed book writer, announced the launch of his latest venture: the Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan. This new initiative promises to revolutionise the funeral insurance industry by offering a range of benefits that extend beyond traditional services.

One of the standout features of the plan is its unique birthday celebration benefit. Anderson explained, "We are the first funeral insurance company that celebrates your birthday by giving the policyholder double data and a personalised soccer jersey of any team of their choice. All our clients are entitled to receiving data every month, and we double the data on your birthday month."

In addition to these perks, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan offers comprehensive legal advice in civil, labour, and criminal matters. "This sets us apart from all other funeral services providers as our clients are made to enjoy the benefits of their policies in their day-to-day lives. When one is arrested, through our policy, we have legal personnel who will offer assistance for bail applications," Anderson stated.

Contrary to the general belief that funeral insurance service providers benefit from policyholders' deaths, Anderson emphasised that Tshepang and Ruvimbo encourage healthy living. "We offer unlimited doctors' consultations to our members to ensure that our clients live long."

The plan also includes Immigration and emigration services, offering free advice for visa, study, and work permit applications to clients. This service is particularly beneficial for those dealing with the complexities of international travel and relocation.

Backed by Sanlam, a major insurance giant in South Africa, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan guarantees swift claim processing, ensuring that financial support is available when needed most. "Funerals in foreign lands come with huge financial implications, so we are saying starting from only R69 per month, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan will assist you in getting the body of your loved one repatriated to their country of origin," Anderson added.

Since its inception in November 2023, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan has rapidly expanded, now boasting eight offices across South Africa, including Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Midrand, Daveyton, Pretoria, and Polokwane. The company also services clients worldwide through agreements with international service providers.

Anderson's latest endeavour is poised to make a significant impact on the funeral insurance industry, setting a new standard for customer care and service. With its innovative approach and comprehensive benefits, Tshepang and Ruvimbo Funeral Plan is well on its way to becoming the fastest-growing funeral insurance company in South Africa.
