ZPC Kariba tops

ZPC Kariba shot to the top of the Zifa Northern Division One league log standings after beating Blue Jets 2-1 on Sunday, as highflying Power Masters were sent crushing by struggling JMC.

The Kariba-based team found their goals through former Gunners striker Patrick Makuvaza and Daniel Chikupe to take their points tally of the season to 15 from six matches. Early pacesetters Power Masters recorded their second loss in six matches, surprisingly going down 2-1 to JMC, who had not won a match yet.
