Zimta engages govt over pension fund

THE Zimbabwe Teachers Association (Zimta) has engaged the government over the importance of involving it in  the pension fund management.

This was revealed by Zimta secretary-general Goodwill Taderera during the organisation’s conference held in Bulawayo on Tuesday.

“This development aims to ensure effective administration and growth of the fund, providing teachers security and peace of mind in their retirement, hence making their living standards better amid the crisis faced by pensioners within the country,” he said.
