Zim’s Angelos through to showjumping finals at Dakar Youth Olympic Games

Zimbabwean equestrian athlete Terry Angelos has kept the country’s medal hopes alive at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games after qualifying for the final of the individual show jumping competition.

Angelos produced a composed performance in today’s competition, negotiating the obstacles cleanly to secure his place in Friday’s medal decider.

The young rider will now carry Zimbabwe’s hopes into the final, where he will compete against some of the world’s best young equestrian talents for a place on the podium.
