ZimRights trial opens
NewsDay Staff ·

ZIMRIGHTS director Okay Machisa has accused the State of abusing prosecutorial powers to harass and intimidate members of civil society like him.
REPORT BY CHARLES LAITON
Machisa argued in court on Friday that his continued prosecution by the State was intended to persecute him as the High Court had already ruled that the facts relied upon by the Attorney-General’s office in the matter did not disclose an offence against him.
