Zimbabwean Abroad:Zimbabwe gears for Bafana

THERE were no league matches for the Zimbabwean players abroad at the weekend due to the World Cup qualifiers, but the Warriors return to action tonight when they face South Africa at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, kick off 8:30pm.

This is the first time that coach Ian Gorowa has had more than one foreign player in his squad after calling up only Willard Katsande for Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Mozambique in a Group G 2014 World Cup qualifier.

This time around, he has called up eight more as he looks forward to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which will begin next March.
