Zimbabwe to host 2027 international prisons associations conference

Zimbabwe says it is planning to showcase its innovations and shape the future of correctional services when it hosts the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) Conference next year.

Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) Commissioner-General Moses Cyril Ngawaite Chihobvu announced the development this Friday.

Addressing delegates at the close of the 28th ICPA conference in Northern Ireland, Chihobvu said Zimbabwe would use the opportunity to demonstrate to the world that rehabilitation is at the heart of correctional practice.
