ZIMBABWE staged a commendable fight back with the bat on day two of their first Test against Sri Lanka at Harare Sports Club yesterday with 88 for 1 at stumps in reply to the tourists’ huge first innings score of 537 all out.

The hosts squandered opportunities during Sri Lanka’s innings, with wicketkeeper, Peter Moor dropping two catches, as well as missing a stumping opportunity, while Tino Mawoyo also dropped a catch.
