Zim unlikely to meet MDGs target

Zimbabwe is unlikely to meet the target of eradicating extreme poverty and hunger by 2015.

This was said yesterday by Secretary for Labour and Social Welfare, Lancester Museka, when he appeared before the Parliamentary Thematic Committee on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), chaired by Masvingo Senator Minah Mandaba. He was asked to speak on the impact of the 2011 budget on achievements of MDGs.
