Zim artiste honoured in Austria

MULTI-TALENTED Zimbabwean musician and Cultural Activist based in Austria, Vusa Mkhaya was honoured as the inaugural recipient of the Willi Resetarits Preis award in recognition of his artistic originality and social commitment.

The awards ceremony held on Saturday at Fluchtlingsball in Vienna, Austria, was in honour of Wilhelm Resetarits, better known as Willi Resetarits, an Austrian singer, comedian and human rights activist.

Mkhaya, best known for being a member of the award winning vocal trio Insingizi, expressed gratitude to everyone who shared their incredible talents with him over the years; emphasising the significance of community support.
