Zhuwawo blasts athletes

MIDDLE distance runner Wirimayi Zhuwawo says the future of the country’s long distance runners is bleak if they continue with their poor attitude towards the sport.

Zhuwawo told Southern Eye sport that young athletes are more after money than their careers.

The middle-distance runner said this soon after coming second in the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Half Marathon held in Bulawayo last Sunday.
