NewsDay Staff ·

THE Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) yesterday cleared the air on the delimitation report which was submitted to President Emmerson Mnangagwa saying it was final, adding the document had since been taken for gazetting.
Zec deputy chairperson Rodney Simukai Kiwa told diplomats yesterday during a signing ceremony of a US$1,4 million donation to Zec by the Japanese embassy, that Mnangagwa was expected to gazette the report yesterday afternoon.
Kiwa said: “The commission acknowledges the support given by the government of Japan under phase 1 of Zim ECO and the support contributed to Zec realising its objectives during the electoral cycle leading to the 2018 harmonised elections.
