ZDP petitions Sadc

The Zimbabwe Development Party (ZDP) has petitioned the Sadc appointed mediator to the Zimbabwe crisis, South African President Jacob Zuma,  to find a lasting solution to the impasse in the inclusive government.

In a letter to Zuma this week, ZDP president Kisinoti Mukwazhe said Zuma needed to ensure reforms were implemented with speed for elections to be held, as the country’s political and economic situation remained unstable due to constant bickering.

Mukwazhe accused President Robert Mugabe, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara of failing to deal with the country’s problems seriously.
