Zanu PF stalwarts launch witch hunt

Zanu PF on Thursday launched a witch-hunt to flush out dissidents within its structures after it emerged at least three of its legislators dumped party candidate for the post of Speaker of Parliament Simon Khaya Moyo and instead opted for MDC-T’s Lovemore Moyo.

The results threw the party into turmoil and a flurry of crisis meetings were held at its headquarters yesterday as bigwigs went all out for the dissidents.

Party insiders said Zanu PF could expel MPs who had “sold out” and names of alleged culprits were already being thrown around.
