Zanu PF legislator not happy with Chinamasa

Harare East MP Terence Mukupe is not happy with proposals by Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa to cut the civil service wage bill, which will likely see the firing of youth officers, mostly Zanu PF members.

Mukupe raised concerns over the issue before the National Assembly adjourned last week, saying the youths were the future, and targeting them for retrenchment was not good for the country.

According to the 2016 National Budget statement, Chinamasa will implement various rationalisation measures, which will see some civil service posts being abolished.
