Former Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) chief executive officer, Ngonidzashe Gumbo, has filed a court application at the High Court seeking to register a $186 556,80 arbitral award he won as a court order with a view to execute the judgment.
According to the court papers, Gumbo was employed by the anti-graft body on November 7, 2007 and his contract was unilaterally terminated in March 2015.
“This is an application for registration of an arbitral award that was handed down by the honourable arbitrator, S Mugumisi, on January 5, 2016 at Harare, with the addendum to the award that was handed down on January 26 to become an order of this court,” Gumbo said in his founding affidavit.
