Young Warriors delay departure

Young Warriors coach Jairosi Tapera remains optimistic of getting a good result when his team clash with Botswana in the Caf African Under-20 Youth Championship, first round second leg qualifier, despite chaotic travel arrangements which saw his team delaying their departure for the neighbouring country.

The team was set to travel to Botswana yesterday by road, but the journey was delayed to today with no clear explanation from Zifa. With the match pencilled for Friday in Gaborone, the Young Warriors, who are carrying a healthy 4-0 lead going into the match, will have just tomorrow to acclimatise to Botswana conditions.
