Voice experts nail Magorimbo

VOICE experts hired to analyse audio recordings in the ongoing rape trial of Abundant Global Life Ministries leader Danmore Magorimbo yesterday told the court that there was a 99,7% chance that the voice captured on a 17-minute clip submitted in court was the cleric’s.

The experts, hired from the University of Zimbabwe, said they would give a detailed explanation of their findings on Monday.

The court had asked them to review two audio recordings, one of them secretly recorded by Magorimbo’s alleged rape victim and another one which was retrieved by the police from the cleric’s mobile phone.
