Vingirai freed
NewsDay Staff ·

Businessman and former Intermarket Holdings Limited boss Nicholas Mugwagwa Vingirai, accused of externalising over $600 000 and R1,5 million between 2003 and 2004, walked out of the Harare Magistrates’ Court a free man yesterday after regional magistrate Hosea Mujaya refused to remand him further.
This followed the State’s failure to kick off the trial after investigating officer Detective Inspector Charles Chirove allegedly failed to provide the State with documentary evidence required for the trial.
As a result, Vingirai was set free and the State asked to proceed by way of summons.
