Unbeaten Blanket Mine five clear in PSL promotion push

LUKE Petros’ Blanket Mine FC preserved their long 24 match unbeaten record and tightened their grip on the ZIFA Central Region Soccer League title race.

The Gwanda-based side remains the only unbeaten team in the league this season and is firmly on course for promotion to the Premier Soccer League.

On Saturday, Blanket Mine showed their championship credentials at Battlefields Grounds, coming back from behind to force a 1-1 draw against Tongogara FC.
