Ugandan opposition leader Bobbie Wine for MDC congress

UGANDAN youthful opposition leader Bobbie Wine is expected to headline the MDC congress as an official guest, party leader Nelson Chamisa has said.

Wine is fighting the long-term rule of Ugandan dictator Yoweri Museveni.

Chamisa said Wine — arrested, tortured and declared an enemy by Museveni — was expected to land in Harare yesterday along with delegates from political parties from Swaziland, Kenya and South Africa.
