Taylor, Jarvis achieve career-best rankings

DUBAI — Zimbabwe’s convincing 335 runs victory over Bangladesh in the first Test in Harare on Saturday, its first Test victory in 20 months and 10th in 90 Tests to date, has helped its players make impressive gains in the latest Reliance ICC Player Rankings that were released on Sunday.

Report by ICC

The biggest mover in the batting table is captain Brendan Taylor, whose 171 and 102 not out has earned him a career-best ranking of 29th. He achieved this after jumping 41 places and is now the highest-ranked batsman from either side.
