Stop Tsvangirai from violent ways
NewsDay Staff ·

The assault on MDC-T deputy treasurer-general Elton Mangoma and secretary-general Tendai Biti on Saturday by a group of party youths for allegedly calling for leadership renewal must be despised for what it is.
NewsDay Editorial
Biti, Mangoma, youth assembly secretary-general Promise Mkwananzi and others were reportedly attacked when they stepped outside the party’s headquarters at Harvest House soon after party leader Morgan Tsvangirai had finished holding a one-day meeting with the 210 MDC-T district chairpersons.
The meeting of the party’s 210 district chairpersons was heated, with members attacking Mangoma for writing Tsvangirai a letter urging him to step down to allow for leadership renewal.
