Starlink partners with IMC Communications to revolutionise Zim’s digital landscape
NewsDay Staff ·

THE Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has awarded IMC Communications an internet service provider (ISP) licence, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s bid to partner with Starlink as an approved reseller agent.
This development follows Potraz’s announcement last month that it had licensed Starlink, a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) internet services provider owned by United States billionaire Elon Musk.
Starlink’s entry into Zimbabwe’s information and communication technology sector is expected to reduce the cost of digital and internet services, a crucial aspect of business processes in the digital era.
