Scottland keep title hopes alive with a win over Caps United

Peter Ndlovu’s magic kept Scottland’s hopes of defending the Castle Premier Soccer League title alive at Rufaro Stadium, securing a 1-nil  win over Caps United in a match that truly lived up to its billing.

Scottland needed to win the contest to open wide the title race, and they did so in style courtesy of a spectacular goal from Emmanuel Jalai during Ndlovu’s first match in charge.

The legendary former Warriors captain was thrown into the deep end on Tuesday, taking over on an interim basis following the dismissal of Norman Mapeza, who paid the price for the club’s elimination from the CAF Champions League.
