Sanchez sees complete player in Chigwada

Zimbabwe Under-23 coach Marc Sanchez believes David Delane Chigwada has the qualities to develop into a complete forward after the Brentford youngster marked his first appearance under the Spanish coach with a goal against Mauritius.

Chigwada opened the scoring as the Young Warriors beat Mauritius 2-0 at the National Sports Stadium on Wednesday in the first leg of their Olympic Games qualifier, immediately giving Sanchez a glimpse of the attacking qualities he can bring to the team.

But while the goal provided the headline moment, Sanchez’s assessment of the youngster went far beyond his ability to find the net.
