Sakupwanya mulls football exit amid Scottland frustrations

SCOTTLAND FC owner Scott Sakupwanya is reportedly considering walking away from Zimbabwean football at the end of the season following a frustrating campaign in which his ambitious club failed to defend their Premier Soccer League title and fell short of reaching the CAF Champions League group stage.

Harare City head of corporate communications Stanley Gama claimed that Sakupwanya was contemplating quitting the game after a lengthy conversation between the two, in which the businessman reportedly expressed frustration over what he believes has been unfair treatment of his club by the country’s football system.

Gama shared details of the conversation on his official social media page, claiming that Sakupwanya feels Scottland have been unfairly targeted by football administrators and other influential figures throughout the season.
