Sahwira Glen Forest cemetery undergoes infrastructure upgrade

The Nyaradzo Group says it is transforming its Sahwira Glen Forest Memorial Park in Harare into a modern memorial infrastructure comprising a chapel, racetracks, restaurants and conference facilities as part of efforts to reconnect families  and their departed ones.

Speaking to NewsDay recently, Nyaradzo Group head of strategy and corporate affairs Tendayi Gwatiringa said the development would create a space where the living could continue connecting with the memories of their departed ones.

“We are going to transform this place into a genuine memorial park where, in our view, we combine the living and the dead to co-exist,” he said.
