Rushwaya back in the dock

Former Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) chief executive officer Henrietta Rushwaya was back in the dock yesterday facing nine counts of corruptly concealing from her employers information relating to several unsanctioned Asian matches involving the Zimbabwe Warriors.

Rushwaya, who was accompanied by lawyers Jonathan Samukange and Tafadzwa Hungwe, was, however, not asked to plead when she appeared before regional magistrate Estere Chivasa.

The matter was postponed to July 24 after the magistrate said the court had already prioritised other matters ahead of the case.
