Protect the energy gains, engineer Zim’s future

There is a fundamental principle in electrical engineering that every power-system engineer understands: building generation capacity is only one part of creating a reliable electricity system.

The greater challenge is maintaining stability, reliability and the long-term integrity of the entire system as demand grows and new sources of generation are introduced.

A power station can generate megawatts, but those megawatts only become economically meaningful when they can be transmitted, distributed and delivered reliably to homes, industries, mines, farms, hospitals and businesses.
