NewsDay Staff ·

ZIMBABWE is likely to hold the constitutional referendum between February and March next year on condition the government will have mobilised the $85 million required for the process, Justice and Legal Affairs deputy minister Obert Gutu revealed yesterday.
REPORT BY MOSES MATENGA STAFF REPORTER
Gutu made the remarks after Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai met officials from the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) and senior government officials in Harare.
The meeting was arranged to kick-start preparations for the referendum, which is expected to pave way for the holding of harmonised elections.
