Police impound over 700 vehicles

Police impounded over 700 vehicles over the just-ended Easter and Independence holidays as part of their ongoing clampdown on unregistered and defective vehicles.

Police General Headquarters officer-in- charge (Press and public relations) Blessmore Chishaka said yesterday the majority of the 752 impounded vehicles were unregistered.

We impounded 752 vehicles during the two recent holidays and most of them were unregistered.
