Petrol bomb victim dies

ONE of the two Gweru women allegedly petrol-bombed by a jilted lover last Friday has succumbed to the injuries, Southern Eye has learnt.

A close relative and aunt of the deceased, Cynthia Hlabangana, who only identified herself as MaKhumalo, said Hlabangana died on Sunday at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare.

“Hlabangana died yesterday (Sunday) and, as you can see, we are making arrangements as a family so that her body can be collected from Harare,” she said.
