Pay regularisation fee to council or face demolition, Harare warns illegal settlers
Gracious Daniel ·

HARARE City Council has warned residents illegally occupying council land to avoid third parties and pay their regularisation penalties directly to the council within 14 days to avoid demolition of their structures.
The warning came amid reports that some land barons were fleecing desperate residents of their money by purporting to represent them.
On Wednesday, the council’s head of human shelter services, Edgar Dzehonye, said affected settlers should avoid third parties but pay directly at their nearest council district offices.
