Over 200 golfers turn out for NECFI mental health fundraiser

THE second edition of the National Employment Council for the Funeral Industry (NECFI) fundraising golf day was a resounding success, attracting more than 200 golfers to Chapman Golf Club in Harare yesterday in support of mental health and wellness initiatives.

The event brought together corporates, sponsors and golf enthusiasts in a collective effort to raise funds for mental health programmes and support people living with mental health challenges.

NECFI is seeking to build on the success of last year’s inaugural edition, which raised US$20 000 and supported Annex, a mental health facility under the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, with a two-month supply of medication.
