No Silva lining

DYNAMOS’ patience with Portuguese coach Paulo Jorge Silva appears to be wearing thin after the club slumped to their fifth defeat of the season, losing to bogey side Chicken Inn and FC Platinum in the semi-final and third place playoff of the Independence Cup respectively over the weekend.

A 2-0 chastening by FC Platinum in the battle for third place in Bulawayo on Monday brought Silva’s future with the Premier Soccer League giants under further scrutiny.

Silva might have felt disrespected by those who were questioning his capabilities so early in the season, but Dynamos are falling below expectations under his watch.
