No let-up against Magpies – Di Matteo
NewsDay Staff ·
LONDON-Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo warned his side not to ease up against Newcastle in the Premier League on Wednesday ahead of their FA Cup final clash with Liverpool at Wembley this weekend.
The Chelsea interim manager has helped revive the Londoners’ season since replacing the sacked Andre Villas-Boas at Stamford Bridge and Champions League finalists Chelsea could end the season with two trophies.
But if they don’t beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on the Germans’ own ground on May 19, Chelsea will have to finish in the top four of the Premier League to be sure of a spot in next term’s edition.
