Nkomo foundation disowns Effort Nkomo

The Joshua Nkomo National Foundation has dismissed as untrue claims by former Zapu official Effort Nkomo that he had defected from the Dumiso Dabengwa-led party to concentrate more on the foundation.

A trustee of the foundation, Thandiwe Nkomo-Ibrahim, told NewsDay yesterday Nkomo was not an employee of the foundation.

Last week, Nkomo and Tryphine Nhliziyo, both members of Zapu’s national people’s council defected to Zanu PF.
