Ncube’s CCC hits hard times
Miriam Mangwaya ·
WELSHMAN Ncube’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) faction appears to be going through a difficult period, with prolonged court battles against Sengezo Tshabangu over control of the opposition party taking a toll on its activities.
Ncube was appointed interim leader of the CCC following Tshabangu’s controversial takeover of the party from its founding leader, Nelson Chamisa, triggering a series of legal battles over the party’s leadership and legitimacy.
Months after the fallout, the faction has maintained a relatively low public profile, raising questions about its political direction and efforts to reclaim the party.
