Musona quits Warriors

Striker Knowledge Musona last night sensationally quit the Warriors following match-fixing allegations levelled against him before the Zimbabwe-Burundi 2013 Africa Cup of Nations second leg qualifier while Warriors coach Rahman Gumbo is understood to have been fired at FC Platinum.

Musona said he would only be available once he was cleared by Zifa and an apology made.

Yesterday, Musona, through his lawyer Misheck Hogwe of Hogwe, Dzimirai and Partners, wrote to Zifa making his position clear.
