Mushandike villagers in impassioned plea to govt

Phyllis Mbanje ·

Villagers from Mushandike Irrigation Scheme in Masvingo have made an impassioned plea to the government to consider building another clinic as the current one is overwhelmed with some of them walking 32km to get to the only health service facility.

Constructed in 1985, the clinic serves wards 7, 9 and 10. Most at risk are pregnant women who might end up giving birth while still on the way to the facility.
