Mugabe so out of touch with reality

The fact that President Robert Mugabe on Independence Day stunned even his most ardent supporters, after declaring with a straight face that the economy is on a bounce, with several firms reopening for business, in spite of evidence to the contrary, is exculpation that he is no longer fit to continue serving.

If the majority doubted his incapability to leave office, then his unfortunate comments on Monday speaks to someone who does not even appreciate the vagaries he has subjected the people to under this difficult economic environment. One wonders on which planet does Mugabe live.
