MP sued for $14k in house wrangle

A Bulawayo woman is demanding $14 000 damages from Pelandaba-Mpopoma MP Samuel Sandla Khumalo (MDC-T) whom she accused of refusing to vacate a house she claims to have bought from the politician’s late mother 12 years ago.

In summons submitted before the Bulawayo High Court, Nozizwe Ncube claims she bought the property — house number 61842 in Pelandaba, where Khumalo is staying — from his mother Joyce Khumalo in 2000 before her death years later.

She wants Khumalo to pay her damages of $14 350, 22.
