MLF trial fails to resume
NewsDay Staff ·
The treason trial of three Mthwakazi Liberation Front (MLF) leaders, Paul Siwela, Charles Thomas and former secretary-general John Gazi, failed to resume yesterday after recorders at the Bulawayo High Court malfunctioned.
Court officials and the MLF leaders’ lawyers told NewsDay the matter could not be heard because recording machines at the High Court were not working.
Detective Sergeant George Ngwenya was expected to lead evidence today under cross-
examination by Gazi’s lawyer Advocate Sabelo Sibanda.
