Miss Chitungwiza under scrutiny

REIGNING Miss Chitungwiza Catherine Wayah was the subject of mockery and scrutiny after she struggled to introduce herself and give advice to aspiring models in English at the inaugural Chaminuka fashion show held at Socialite Gardens near Makoni Shopping Centre in Chitungwiza on Saturday.

Wayah was crowned Miss Chitungwiza in April.

Sources who attended the event said Wayah’s custody of the title and the credibility of the pageant is worrisome.
